Laura studied Psychology at the University of Zurich. Currently, she is funded by the UZH CRPP synapse and trauma program (https://www.synapsetrauma.uzh.ch). In her research program, she investigates memory modification with the synaptic plasticity inhibitor doxycycline in an experimental analogue of intrusive memory, and in PTSD patients.
