Curriculum vitae

Miriam obtained her diploma in psychology from the University of Greifswald, Germany. She completed her PhD at the Institute of Medical Psychology and Systems Neuroscience, Münster, Germany, where she investigated the spatiotemporal neural basis of involuntary affective face processing using EEG, fMRI and EEG-informed fMRI.

She is currently working as a postdoctoral researcher in the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNF) project “OPTIMAX - Optimizing Outcomes in Psychotherapy for Anxiety Disorders”. The project uses a multimodal approach (clinical, behavioral, and neurobiological variables) in order to build statistical models that predict therapy outcome at an individual patient level.
