Dissertation Prize of the international Psychometric Society
We are excited to share that Max Welz has been awarded the 2026 Dissertation Prize of the international Psychometric Society for his thesis "Robust Categorical Data Analysis". This annual award recognizes the best dissertation in the field of psychometrics. Max is currently working at the UZH Department of Psychology in the group of Prof. Dr. Carolin Strobl, where he and his coauthors continue to develop robust methods for analyzing psychological data in a more reliable way.
