Open Science Prize

Dear members of the Depeartment of Psychology,

the Open Science Initiative awards several open science prizes for work that has implemented open science practices in an exemplary manner. All Expra groups, master's students, doctoral students and postdocs who have published or submitted a paper (e.g., Expra report, master's thesis) that implemented open science practices can apply usingthis form.

A prize worth CHF 250 will be awarded in each of the following categories: Expra groups, master's theses, papers from (at the time of the work) doctoral students, papers from postdoctoral students. The prizes for Expra groups and master's theses are sponsored by psych alumni. The prizes for publications by doctoral students and postdocs are sponsored by the URPP Dynamics of Healthy Aging.

You can apply at any time by completeing the application form and uploading your paper. The prerequisite is that the work was completed at the Department of Psychology (i.e., you are / were enrolled or employed here when preparing the paper).

Applications for the open science prize 2024 were considered until January 31, 2024. The next deadline by which applications for the open science prize 2025 will be considered is January 31, 2025.
