Curriculum vitae

Yasmine studied Psychology at the University of Vienna. In her Master thesis, she focused on the modulation of dorsolateral prefrontal cortex activity and its influence on affective judgements. During her PhD, she was funded by the UZH CRPP Sleep and Health program investigating the role of sleep in stress adaptation and the development of intrusive emotional memories. As a PostDoc, she now investigates the reactivation of emotional memories during sleep and its influence on the processing of these memories. By this, she seeks to translate neuroscience theories and findings on the function of sleep into clinical and memory models.
