In the framework of cognitive neuroscience, my main focus is to understand emotional signaling using a multi-dimensional approach. This interest includes the study of human perception through the auditory modality. My work at the University of Zürich is centered on the ability of the medial temporal lobe to decode challenging emotional vocalizations using single- and multi-cell recordings as well as brain lesion methods.
