Research interest

I investigate how vocal identity information is perceived and processed by human listeners. For that, I use psychoacoustic tests, web-based testing approaches as well as structural and functional fMRI. Previously, I focused my research on phonagnosia, a selective deficit in voice-identity recognition. Here, at the University Zurich, I want to unravel if and how identity processing of natural human voices and their digital copies differ.
