Projektgruppen 

Tugenden: altmodisch, aber hilfreich? - Diagnostik von Tugenden

Peterson und Seligman (2004) beschreiben sechs universelle Tugenden, die in westlichen und östlichen Kulturen als wünschenswert gelten. Zur systematischen Erforschung dieser gibt es zur Zeit noch keine Verfahren. In der Projektgruppe soll nach verschiedenen Möglichkeiten gesucht werden, um diese universellen Tugenden erfassen zu können bzw. Strategien gefunden werden, um die Forschung in diesem Bereich anzureichern.

Diagnostik in der Laufbahn- und Karriereberatung

Die Projektgruppe hat die Neuentwicklung, Evaluation und Anwendung von psychologischen Tests zur Diagnostik in der Laufbahn- und Karriereberatung zum Ziel. Dabei werden in der Praxis etablierte Verfahren mit neuen Ansätzen kombiniert. Ein weiteres Forschungsthema ist die Erforschung des Zusammenhangs von Charakterstärken und Tugenden sowie allgemeinen Persönlichkeitsmodellen (etwa den big five oder Eysencks PEN-Modell) zu beruflichen Interessen.
