Work and Organisational Psychology

Welcome!

The work and organisational psychology is one of the applied fields in Psychology that has become more and more important in recent years. Tasks of work and organisational psychologists are to describe, explain, forecast and create processes of human work and of the organisations people work in. The aim is usually to combine individual needs and organisational job requirements.

Work and organisational psychology clearly has features of an interdisciplinary approach. Therefore being a work and organisation psychologist in practice, it is of great advantage not to have only fundamental knowledge of psychology but also to have basic knowledge of other scientific subjects, such as law, economics, or education.
